Angelo’s has been a staple on Sixth Avenue since 1974. It was owned and operated by the Laveo family until March of 2013, when Craig Jones purchased the restaurant and ushered in a new chapter while honoring its roots. The old-world family recipes remained at the heart of the menu, with modern twists added along the way, like char-grilled oysters and balsamic-glazed ribs, helping shape the eclectic offerings you see today.
Many years into its rebirth, Angelo’s continues to thrive in the same neighborhood, boasting one of Denver’s best happy hours and an oyster bar that moves over 7,000 oysters a week, ensuring the freshest selections from both coasts.

Check it outLove the small intimate space. I had the Buffalo ravioli and it was a great dish sauce was very good. I love Bison I grew up eating it, and I think it is one of the cleanest meets out there. Our server was very good.
The lobster gnocchi was so good, and the bruschetta is the best I've ever had. I ate absolutely everything and even took from my friend's plate. Can't wait to go back on my next visit to Denver!
Amazing food, happy hour is a steal, great drinks, cocktails, would highly recommend the char grilled Oysters. Barrel aged Manhattan is fantastic. Friendly service! Would come again!
Had a delicious calzone with the perfect amount of ingredients. I have to remember to ask for extra marinara sauce next time. Can't wait to try the sandwich lunch specials next time.
Love this place. Been coming here for years and recommended to all my friends. The best chargrilled oysters...highly recommend. All food here is delicious. Pay this place a visit, you won't be disappointed.
